This work costs more than it should
I set my prices as honestly as I know how, and they are still out of reach for a lot of the people who most need this. Insurance does not cover any of it. This fund exists so that money is not always the last word.
A full program is $3,200, plus the cost of the medicine. That number reflects what the work actually takes — hours of preparation, an entire day where I am with one person and no one else, the licensed center, and the weeks of integration afterward. I am not able to lower it much without doing the work badly.
But I keep meeting people for whom that figure ends the conversation. A veteran on disability. Someone who left a job because they could not hold it together anymore. A widow living on one income where there used to be two. Their need is not smaller because their bank account is.
So there is a fund. When someone cannot pay and I believe the work is right for them, the fund closes the gap — sometimes partly, sometimes entirely.
What your money actually pays for
Sessions for people who cannot pay for them. Preparation, a medicine day, and integration for someone receiving reduced-cost or no-cost care. This is where nearly all of it goes.
The medicine and the room. The healing center charges its fee whether or not the person can pay it, and the medicine itself runs $50 to $200. Those costs are not mine to waive.
Nothing else. This fund does not pay for research, advertising, or a building. I am not running studies and I will not imply otherwise. It pays for specific people to sit down with me.
I decide who receives support, and I do it case by case rather than through a formal application process. If you would rather your gift went to a particular kind of person — a veteran, someone in grief — tell me and I will honor that.
If you are here because you need help paying rather than because you want to give, write to me directly. Ask. It is not an imposition, and I would rather know.
Give what makes sense to you
Any amount is genuinely useful. There is no suggested figure and no follow-up from me unless you ask for one.
